home again, home again

We decided to come home.

It was touch and go, but there were the pets to think of, despite the fact that our housesitter was more than ready to and willing to kidnap both cat and dog once we returned.

The next few days will be catching up on laundry and jetlag, but then I will fill you in on the trip, I promise.

The short version, for now: perfectly hot, humid and salt-watery.
